M.I.A. Media provide a large range of production, post production and distribution services, we specialise in tapeless work flows and solutions to keep costs to a minimum, tape based work flows are no problem for us either! We utilise the latest video camera equipment and cutting edge technology for outstanding production quality on a budget. Services we offer include shooting, editing, sound mixing, grading, encoding, transcoding, Blu-ray/DVD authoring, web delivery, tape delivery and master archive creation for future use.

Production

At M.I.A. Media we aim to provide the very best service from start to finish so you can stick with one company throughout the entire process of your project. The process begins at production where we get out there and shoot the footage that will be used for the project, we shoot with the very best equipment dependant on budget ranging from top end RED equipment to professional XDCAM and P2 camcorders along with DSLR cameras for that unique look that these cameras provide.

Post Production

After the shoot it’s time to edit all of that spectacular footage, at M.I.A. Media we use both Apple Final Cut and Adobe Premiere editing systems both of which are highly spec’d meaning all editing and rendering can be done in real time, speeding up the process, reducing delays and more importantly costs. On completion of the edit we will create a sound mix and do a final colour grade to give the production a look and feel that oozes quality and is finished to the highest standard. A couple of other things that we are capable of is 4:4:4 capture and lay back and additionally 3D!

Distribution

Once post production has been completed you’ll need to distribute and deliver your highly polished project. We offer a wide range of ways to distribute the finished project using the latest encoding and lay back systems. If you have a production that was done elsewhere you are welcome to utilise our expertise in this area to deliver your project.

We can encode from virtually any tape format including, HDCAM-SR, HDCAM, HD-D5, DigiBeta, BetaSP, DVCPRO, DVCAM, Mini DV, VHS and more.

Encode and Transcode to and from any file format including, AVI, MOV, 2K/4K Image Sequences, DPX, Cineon, RED Camera support, H264/AVC, MPEG4, MPEG2, Windows Media, Flash Video and Real Media. We can also do file based conversions such as NTSC to PAL, HD frame rate conversions, de-interlacing, aspect ratio conversion, audio remapping, cropping, 3:2 pulldown sequence insertion and removal.
